Given the stratus skies overhead and the darkening storm of protest in DC, I find solace in this favorite pic taken a few winters ago. From my Amtrak seat on a return to PDX from Seattle, the Puget Sound vistas afforded brilliant sky views. A promise of tomorrow and a reminder that despite the starkness of winter, there is still beauty to behold. I look forward to riding the rails again someday. Meanwhile, I’ll keep looking up with grateful eyes … and hope you do as well!
